Help your company give to The Living Room while making your own personal tax deductible donation. Many large companies have Matching Gift Programs that will double your personal gift or give a sum (often up to $500) to a non-profit organization. Please check your company’s website or call your Human Resources Department to find out if they have this program. Even if you are not employed by a company that offers matching gift opportunities, you may know someone — a relative, neighbor of friend who does. Let them know that their personal and matching corporate gift will be well invested.

Legacy Gifts
Think beyond one’s lifespan and imagine how much good could be done by remembering The Living Room in your estate. A legacy gift or bequest can be made through annuities and other financial arrangements, or more simply through a will or living trust naming The Living Room as beneficiary of a bank account, life insurance policy, retirement plan, real estate holding, or other bequest. Gifts large and small are important.

Memorial Gift
Honor someone special by making a tribute gift. It is an excellent way to recognize someone dear to you who has passed, or to celebrate a special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary or holiday. If someone has made a difference in your life, there’s no better way to honor them than to make a difference in the lives of people in need.
