The Living Room is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that depends on grants, donations and fundraisers to sustain its program.  Currently 85%-90% of our funding comes from community support.  Please lend your support to our efforts by donating in any of the following ways:

Donate by check.  Make checks payable to "The Living Room" and send to The Living Room Center, 1207 Cleveland Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95401.

Donate Gift Cards - Gift cards are used to purchase food and other essential items used to operate The Living Room program.

Pledges.  Spread your annual gift throughout the year by pledging a specific amount each month. Pledges can be made by check or credit card.

Corporate Matching Gift Program – Help your company give to The Living Room while making your own personal tax deductible donation. Many large companies have Matching Gift Programs that will double your personal gift or give a sum (often up to $500) to a non-profit organization. Please check your company's website or call your Human Resources Department to find out if they have this program. Even if you are not employed by a company that offers matching gift opportunities, you may know someone -- a relative, neighbor of friend who does.  Let them know that their personal and matching corporate gift will be well invested.  To arrange for a matching gift to The Living Room, please contact Cindy Pasko, Executive Director, at 707-579-0138 or CPasko@thelivingroomsc.org.  

Legacy Gift – Think beyond one’s lifespan and imagine how much good could be done by remembering The Living Room in your estate. eScrip at Oliver's Market.  You can support The Living Room with just a swipe of your Community Card at any Oliver's Market in Sonoma County!  We are now registered with eScrip, so 3% of your purchases will be donated to us by Oliver's.  Use TLR's Group ID# 500044986.  All you need to do is pick up a card at Oliver's, register it with eScrip by calling 800-931-6258 or register online at www.escrip.com/Olivers, and remember to tell the cashier or swipe your card with every purchase.  We have registration forms available at the TLR office.  Happy shopping!

 In 2016, more than 1,000 women and children came to The Living Room. Your donation will help underwrite the cost to provide:

  • Qualified staff for essential services
  • Daily hot breakfast and lunch
  • Support classes for parenting and child development
  • Art therapy classes
  • Job placement assistance with newspapers, telephones and voicemail
  • Necessities such as diapers, socks, hygiene supplies and backpacks
  • Educational books and toys
